Donald E. Hodges

Donald Elmer Hodges, 81, of Huntsville, Texas passed away on February 6, 2023. He was born in Buras, Louisiana on June 24, 1941, to parents Elmer Allie Hodges and Emma Ernestine Hodges. Donald was the eldest of three (3) children; including, his brother Jerry (who preceded him in death) and his sister June. He was reared by a devout Christian mother and accepted Christ at an early age.

Donald graduated from Spring High School. He worked for Halliburton as a Directional Drilling Supervisor. Donald met Lois Theiss while attending Spring High School and they married in December of 1961. Two children were born of this union, Todd and Kimberly. After the dissolution of this union, Donald later married Mary Corpus and their union lasted 40+ years until her death.

He leaves to mourn his passing, cherish his memories, and celebrate his homegoing: his ex-wife, Lois Hodges; son, Todd Hodges, and his wife LaSaundra; daughter, Kimberly Cade, and her husband Robert; step-daughter, Suzette Williamson, and her husband Kraig; grandchildren, Chad Belanger, Alex Belanger, Kristen Hodges, Savannah Williamson, and Cydney Hicks; great-grandchild, Dean Lash; sister, June Hodges; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation for Donald will be held Monday, February 13, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Followed by a graveside service at Brookside Memorial Park.
