Dolores Marie Gase

Dodie is survived by her daughter Barbara Gase. She leaves her sisters-in-law Mary Waldschmidt and Gert Johnson of Lone Tree, Iowa, and Marge Gase of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; brothers-in-law Francis Gase of Des Moines, Iowa and Joseph Gase of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; many nieces, nephews and friends. Although she was a resident of Houston, Texas for 26 years her heart still belonged to Iowa.

Visitation with the family was held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Waltrip Funeral Directors. Visitation concluded with a Catholic Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. There was a Remembrance Mass at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 17 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Inurnment was in Des Moines, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, a donation made in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Association of the Miraculous Medal or local Masses said in her memory.
