Diane Marie George, age 71, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014. Born in Houston, Texas, she was an avid Texas Longhorn fan who loved her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Ronald George; granddaughter, Christina George; brothers, Kevin and Timothy Burns; and aunt, Ailene Slominski. Survived by son, Russell George; daughter, Traci Mamaux and husband Mike; grandchildren, Sara George, Madalein Mamaux, Nicholas Mamaux; sisters, Paulette Dutton and husband Farrington and Patricia Burns; aunt, Claudine Rivera; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at St. Edward Catholic Church, 2601 Spring Stuebner Rd., Spring, Texas 77389.
