Delia Cortez Leal

Delia Cortez Leal, age 67, of Houston, Texas passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024. She was born in Houston, Texas on February 22, 1957. In her life she received her GED and worked as a Florist for HEB. Delia had a passion for crafting, dancing, playing cards and enjoyed spending time with her family. Delia loved being with her children and grandchildren.

Delia is preceded in death by her siblings Antonio Cortez, Ruben Cortez and Estella Cortez. She is survived by her son Adrian Jacob Ancira (Jackie), grandson Adrian Jacob Ancira Jr., daughter Christina Ancira, son Manuel Anthony Leal (Jennifer), grandson Joseph Anthony Leal, daughter Laura Lynn Leal and grandchildren Jassidy Sabrina Borjas (Jorge), David Borjas Jr. (Alazay Puentes), Destiny Rodriguez, Geovonni Jerome Cardenas, Roxy Chloe Cardenas,son Xavier Ancira Jr. (Eva), grandchildren Xavier Ancira III, Xavian Ancira, Xander Ancira, Xelena Ancira, Xantino Ancira, along with great granddaughters Everleigh Estella Borjas and Camila Moreno. Brothers Louis Cortez, Monico Cortez, Ray Cortez, sisters Mary Campos, Hortense Cortez, Esmeralda Colunga, Alice Trejo and Theresa Alatorre.

A visitation for Delia will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 from 9:30 am to 10:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A rosary service will occur Friday, December 20, 2024 at 8:00 pm, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A visitation will occur Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A chapel service will occur Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A committal service will follow Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 12:30 pm at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy., Houston, TX.
