Debra Kay Smith

Debra was born to Robert Edward Wason and Annie Mae Wason, July 29th, 1959, in Houston, Texas. She graduated from South Houston High School in 1978. She raised 2 children. Debra is survived by: Jason Edward Graves and Jeremy Tyler Graves. She also leaves to cherish her memory of her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Annie Mae Wason.

Debra worked for Shell Oil for 32 years. She enjoyed watching sports, spending time with her family, and playing bingo with her friends.

A funeral is scheduled for January 25th at Forrest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Mike Carlen will officiate the ceremony. The family would also like to thank Bill, Sharon, Vicky and Sylvia for their friendship, love, and support they have given over the years.

A public visitation for Debra will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
