Deborah Ann DePrato’s life was taken to soon on February 1st, 2021. She was 54 years old. She was a devoted spouse, mother, grandmother and genuine friend. She has been reunited with her late step father Wayne Horwitz.
She was born on August 26, 1966 in Springfield, Missouri. Shortly after moved to Houston, Texas to call home. Debbie attended Hastings High School. She married Darrell DePrato and gave birth to two children, Chris and Robin DePrato. Debbie was an exceptional mother and homemaker. Her door was always open to anyone. She was loved immensely by everyone who knew her and projected warmth, joy, and kindness to all.
Debbie held a special place in her heart for special needs children and animals in need. She volunteered at hospitals and made donations to multiple organizations. Debbie always took in an animal that others would not give a chance. Her dog Martini was such example. She was especially passionate about finding a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare skin disease her granddaughter, Jordyn DePrato, was born with.
Debbie’s children and grandchildren were the light of her life. They brought a smile to her face and filled her heart. They brought her laughter and joy. She spent time with them as much as she could. Showering them with love and helping out in any way she could.
Later in life Debbie reunited with her partner Glynn Walker who was with her in her last days. He lifted her spirits and showed her what life has to offer and what a wonderful beautiful woman she was destined to be.
