David Lee Jones

David was raised in Los Angeles, California and graduated from Poly High School in 1955; where he and his twin brother, Dave, played football. David was an accomplished musician. His athletic and musical talents afforded him opportunities to travel nationally and internationally. David became a machinist in the 1970s, and retired in this profession.

David met the love of his life, Mildred Ann Owens, and they married on June 12, 1981. On this day, David also became a father to Kimberly Manley, Christopher Manley, and Corey Manley.

David departed this life on June 18, 2022. Those left behind to cherish sweet memories of David are: one daughter, Kimberly Manley; one son, Corey Manley (Kimberley); one sister, Faye Jones; twin brother, Dave Jones; two sisters-in-law, Virgel Owens and Rosalind Beaty (Richard); four granddaughters, Shalondra Manley, Crishell Menifee (RL), Krista Bob (Horace, IV), and Ashlyn Manley; one grandson, Javious Roberts; seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

David was preceded in death by: his wife, Mildred Ann Jones; parents, Al Jones, Sr. and Teaethel Jones; brother, Al Jones, Jr.; son, Christopher Manley; and nephew, Dave Jones, Jr.
