Darlene Thomas, of Lytle, Texas, went to be with her Lord peacefully on Friday, February 5, 2016 in Lytle, Texas.
She was born, June 3, 1945 in Houston, Texas to parents George W. and Lena Gill Rainer, who preceded her in death. Darlene is survived by her husband of 23 years Jimmy Thomas; daughters: Regina Smith and Karla Dockery; six grandchildren; brothers: Raymond Rainer and Ron Rainer; sister Dorothy Rainer; also preceded in death by her brother Jimmy Rainer.
The loving, giving and caring nature of Darlene will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends for a visitation Monday, February 8, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Splendora Cemetery in Splendora, Texas.
