When I returned home to Vegas the next morning I found this beautiful sight in my backyard.   I felt like the rainbow was a message from my brother just letting me know he was at peace.   God I miss him so much and the pain is tremendous.   One sweet day we will be reunited.  

Delia and I Spent the day Sunday with my cuz.  We drank a few beers played some of his music and reminisced about the good old days and all the times we got each other in and out of trouble.   We miss you so much Bob.   I have lost a lifelong companion but he will always be right here with me in my memories.   

I shared a beautiful sunset with my grandpa. 
I was driving and this was my  God wink.   The rosary from my Grandpa’s service hanging on my mirror of the car and God’s sunset in the distance.  I felt a since of peace with my Grandpa.   I love him so much and miss him more than you will ever know.  

Daniel was the most precious gift from Heaven, sadly we have to return this gift. The remarkable gift that Daniel gave each of us, was his friendship, and tons of memories that our hearts will be forever grateful. Daniel was a man full of laughter, and fun, most importantly a man of integrity. Niecie my heart is heavy for this great lost, what gives me hope, joy is we will all be united with him one day. May he rest in peace. May comfort and peace dwell over the Valdez family. Love you Niecie.

I never thought this day would come this soon.  After 46 years of marriage and many years of being his right hand assistant there is such an empty space in my heart.   A big part of me is gone.  After many years of this reoccurring illness on June 16th in the early morning hours he cried out oh God, Lord Jesus.   The God of mercy heard his cry took him by the hand and safely led him home where he received his new and glorified body.  No more suffering in pain.  I try to understand this in my mind but my heart is not feeling it.  I will truly miss you baby until we are reunited  together in heaven.     Thank you for being my soul mate even when we were like vinegar and oil.   You told me that was love.  Thanks for all your years of support and love and especially all the beautiful family you gave me.  Your legacy, all the memories and you will live forever in all our hearts ♥️.  Save a dance for me my one and only for 46 years.

One memory out of so many is when Cousin Daniel (Bobby) carried me piggyback after I broke my toe at Garner State . We had a big family group having a good time but I couldn’t walk.  He took me to the hospital and stayed with me in the ER til the wee hours of the morning.  Thank you,  my protector,  my friend, my cousin.  Your memory will live on in all our hearts.

It's really sad to hear you had to leave so early , just wanted to say thanks Bobby, for being there when I was a kid taking me to work with you in your truck , going for rides in your road runner , just being cool  when ever I was around. my deepest prayers are with the family may god always give y'all comfort and peace in this difficult time .

It's hard to pick just one memory because as a kid, I practically lived at Daniel and Niecie's, hanging with my cousins.  We shared many family trips that included camping at Garner State Park, swinging off trees into the Frio River.  We also adventured to Franklin, TX to visit Uncle Alfred and Lorraine with the fishing pond and trampoline.  Happiness and good times is all that comes to mind when thinking about Uncle Daniel.  I will cherish those memories forever.

My condolences to all of the family, Daniel was one of the good ones.  He welcomed me with open arms when I moved to Houston, always made me laugh and feel comfortable.  I hope you can find strength in one another during this time.  And one day, sit around a table with a beer sharing all of his memories together.

Karen, I was honored to meet you as I spoke to Bobby earlier this year. And to see how you reflect the love of his family I know. I knew Bobby when he was a baby and his mother carry me and his sister to kindergarten. She was like the mother hen that protected her chicks. Makes me smile to remember those moments. The greatest part of it all is that Bobby has a relationship with Jesus and is now in peace. Never doubt it by keeping 1st Thessalonians chapter 4 versus 13 through 18 always in your heart. God bless the Valdez family.

My condolences to the entire Valdez Family, especially to my nephews Justin and Joshua. Mr. Valdez was the most generous, loving and caring person I have ever known. May God be with you all at this time. 


My condolences to the Valdez Family on the loss of our loved one.  

 Daniel loved his beautiful wife Niecie, his children, grand children and great grand children unconditionally. 

 He loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors and enjoyed it with Niecie, his children, grandkids and great grand kids. 
Whether it was BBQ, Crawfish or just some good ol’ sandwiches and cold beer.  He was ready for a good time with family and friends that became family.

 His children and grand children’s friends became one of his own.  He loved them as much as they loved him.   They showed and gave Daniel and Niecie the utmost respect. 

 Daniel who was also known as Bob/Bobby was always cutting up and kept us laughing.  When Daniel and Andy got together, it was an evening of laughter.  

 I met Daniel when I was around eleven.  My cousin Beatrice who  lived in El Dorado where Daniel grew up introduce me to him.  Who would’ve thought we’d become family, but we did and forty-four years later I still consider this a blessing.

🙏 Feeling blessed that my husband Andy and I were able to visit and speak with cousins Niecie & Daniel Valdez at Memorial Hermann on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.  
Daniel unexpectedly passed away two days later.

  We’ve lost a man with a generous heart, but we know one day we’ll all gather together again.  Until then REST IN PEACE cousin. 

 Happy Heavenly Fathers Day,

Daniel Valdez spent 69 years sharing his love and friendly personality with his family and friends.  A very, very admirable man.  We will all keep Daniel in our hearts until we all meet again in Heaven.  Much love goes to his devoted wife Niecie and his family.
