Daniel Lee Taylor went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 24, 2015. Danny was born in Louisville, Kentucky on June 11, 1950. He graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruth Nowlin Taylor; brother, David Earl Taylor. He is survived by his brother, Jim Frank Taylor and wife Janice of Houston; nieces, Sharon Taylor, Jennifer Taylor; nephew, David Taylor, Jr. and wife Kerri, all of Houston and numerous great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Gethsemane Lutheran Church Building fund or a charity of your choice.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm, Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Pat H. Foley & Company. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Friday, August 28, 2015 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 4040 Watonga Blvd, Houston, 77092. Interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Park Cemetery, 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, 77039.
