Consuelo DeLeon Vasquez, age 83, of Houston, Texas passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022. Consuelo was born January 7, 1939. Wife of Margarito Cano Vasquez for 57 years. A tough loving and nurturing mom to six children: Debra Moreno, Margie Lopez Vasquez, Michelle Martinez, Michael Vasquez, Martin Vasquez, and Monte Vasquez. Consuelo is surpassed by six siblings: Arthur De Leon, Pete De Leon, Oscar De Leon, Carmen De Leon, Oscar De Leon, and Adelina De Leon. Grand,a to 25 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
A visitation for Consuelo will be held Monday, May 2, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
