Although it’s been  another year of your passing I still miss your voice and Herbs many stories of trips and dinners  and family celebrations with his Beautiful Queen. She was such a great aunt to myself and my sister Deborah.  I will never forget those visits to them in Houston when we were kids.  She made every visit seem magical. 
Thank you Herb and I’m sorry I can’t be there. 

Claudine our beautiful poised cousin was the one we wanted to be like. The times I got to spend with her were magical times.  That charm, that accent and infectious laugh were captivating. But along with that southern charm was a strong independent woman with backbone who stood up for herself and what she believed; something I think of as Pritchett grit. She will be missed on this side. 

My grandmother is a beautiful, amazing, smart, kind-hearted woman.  I am so lucky to be able to call her my grandmother and great grandmother to my twin daughters. She was the most fashionable grandmother I know who could rock just about anything she wore, from her beautiful hair and painted nails from her high heels down to her matching purse. I will always cherish the memories that my daughters and I got to make with our grandmother.  I will always admire the love and strong bond between my grandparents. The way they looked at one another, respected one another, their 38 plus years together, their love for one another is a true love story that one day I hope to experience because my grandparents are my favorite couple I look up too. Grandma was such a positive person and when she walked into a room she would brighten it with her amazing smile and beautiful soul. The girls and I love you so much. You are missed deeply. Please continue to watch over grandpa.

I still remember the day like it was yesturday when she answered the phone in Hawaii on one of your yearly vacations and she talked to me for 30 minutes as if we were old friends and It was our first chat 🥰 such a warm , inviting loving wife my Best friend you were lucky to have cherished , so Beautiful & she will be sadly missed. You are in my prayers ❤

Claudine is my husband dougs aunt. Her birthday was the day before mine and I always heard from her and she from me. She and herb would show up at the Pritchett family functions with desserts from lubys and she was always so elegant looking. Always a sweet and lovely woman, I will miss her very much. My prayers are with you herb and I am sorry we can’t be there. Love, joni

My grandma was an amazing woman. She was loving, nurturing and selfless. A woman who carried herself with such grace. Grandma was unbelievably compassionate. Her heart and her generosity knew no bounds. She always made sure we had what we wanted. I still hear her voice calling me “little bit” and I am so grateful to have had such an amazing role model in my life. She was perfect. Perfect in every respect- her laugh, her smile, her hugs. I love you grandma. You will be missed.

This morning there is a void in our hearts.  Our beautiful Claudine is not with us.  God has welcomed her home with open arms and in time will help  heal our
pain.  We feel blessed to have Herb in our family and want him to know how
much we appreciate the love and care he has given her.  We will always love you.
 

My Mom, Claudine was a warm, compassionate and strong vibrant woman who always went out of her way to help others. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and always had me laughing. She was a proud woman who believed that there was no obstacle that couldn’t be overcome. I have to say that she  definitely past that on to me. I will draw strength from all the things she taught me and live by the words she quoted as if her own. “Accept the things you cannot change and change the things you can”  
I don’t know how I will cope without her, I have a massive hole in my heart. I love you so much and will miss you more than words can say ❤️

Claudine was a woman of beauty, grace and kindness but there was also grit and strength. I’ve carried her around in my heart in places where I felt uncomfortable or out of my league and relied on her strength and poise to see me through.
