Claudia A. Jenkins

Claudia A. Jenkins, age 74, of Cypress, TX, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2024 following a battle with Parkinson’s and dementia. Claudia grew up in a loving home in Brookville, OH where she made many lifelong friends. She met the love of her life in 1990 and enjoyed 32 years of marriage to her beloved Robert E. Jenkins II.

Claudia celebrated life and was quick to befriend everyone around her. She was always known as the “fun” mom and had a song for every occasion. She loved singing and dancing as music was in her soul. When not spending time with her children and grandchildren or playing with her dogs, Claudia could be found traveling with her husband on various cruises and spending as much time as possible on sandy beaches. Claudia moved to Cypress, TX around 8 years ago, after retiring from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in Dayton, OH. She continued to shine her light on everyone around her and share her love of humor.

Claudia is preceded in death by her parents Earl Wysong and Kathryn Woodard Wysong, as well as her brother Ronn Bishop and sister Carolyn Roth. She is survived by her husband Robert E. Jenkins II, two daughters Adrienne Beauchamp and husband Fernando Beauchamp, Amanda Olt and husband Doug Olt; her grandchildren Taylour Avery and husband Brian Avery, Jaime Beauchamp, Austin Olt and Zavier Beauchamp; great grandchildren Russell Avery, Remington Avery and Zhavia Avery; along with her nieces, numerous cousins, and her awesome Aunt Sue Combs.

Claudia’s family and friends miss her dearly and will always remember her fun hair, which was usually a bright blue or pink, her love of music and her quick wit.
