Clarence Allen Young, was born October 8, 1936 to Mr. & Mrs. Tommy Young in Houston, TX. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age, at Riceville Mt. Olive Church, and continued his walk with the Lord his entire life. Clarence was a very dependable person, he believed in hard work.
He married at an early age, to Gloria Jean Colbert, the mother of Phyllis Lugenia Young, the only child. He later found the love of his life Mrs. Effie M. Young, (preceded in death).
He leaves to cherish his memory his only Daughter, Phyllis Lugenia Young; 1 brother, Tommy Young; 2 Sisters, Maxine Fisher and Doris Franklin; 1 very special stepdaughter, Javana L. Colbert; 4 Grandchildren, Pershelle Chatmon, Alberta Anderson, Gloria J. Young, and Gerald W. Steadman Jr.(preceded in death); 9 Great Grands, Zonobia, Elijah, Dayveyon, Dayvonna, Roslyn, Zykeria, Kamoria, Xavier Young, Lamaroius; 3 Great Great Grands, Ladarius, Dequalyn, Ja’liaa and a host of relatives and friends.
