Christine Marie Hand

Christine M. Hand, 52, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Born October 2, 1960 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of Catharine M. Hand and the late John E. Hand Sr. Christine was a self-employed business woman in Houston, Texas owning several local businesses over the years. To her family and friends, Christine was a strong and independent woman with a big heart. Surviving are her husband Wallace Doong; mother Catharine M. Hand of Houston, Texas; sisters Ioleta L. Hetrick of New Bloomfield, Pennsylvania; Margery L. Glover of Pikesville, Maryland; and brother John E. Hand Jr. of Steelton, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by brothers Terry L. Hand, Randy L. Hand, and Edward G. Hand. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Forest Park Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Rd., Houston, Texas 77077 preceded by a viewing from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A gathering for family and friends will be held at the HIBACHI Grill, 13117 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX 77077 following the service.
