Rev. Charlie Bill Hayes

Charlie Bill Hayes was born May 8, 1940 in Paulding Mississippi to the late Charlie B Hayes and Sallie (Jones) Hayes. He departed this life on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Methodist Hospital in Sugar Land, TX.

Charlie attended South Side High School in Paulding, Mississippi, where he was involved in sports. Charlie worked as a truck driver. Charlie married the love of his life, Nocelora Halley, on September 2, 1989. Through their union, he gained a stepdaughter, Demetria Halley, and a stepson, Dexter Halley.

He was associate Pastor of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and a Dallas Cowboys Fan.

Charlie leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Nocelora Hayes, stepdaughter Demetria Halley, stepson Dexter Halley. He leaves three brothers: Henry J. Hayes, Floyd Hayes and David Hayes of Paulding, MS, a sister, Charity Shelby, of Paulding, MS. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friend and loving in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Charlie and Sallie Hayes, four sisters; Helen Love, Irine J. H Bradley, Heneretta Ladner, Darlene Hayes, Catherine Jefferson , and a brother James Clifton Hayes.
