My mother has fond memories of Corporal Galloway visiting her home in Precinct 5 on numerous occasions back when the travel form was delivered and completed in person. She describes Corporal Galloway as a big teddy bear of a man, so very personable and always with a smile on his face. He obviously loved his job and did it well to leave such a lasting, positive impression on my mom. Thank you, Corporal Galloway. You will be missed.

Deepest sympathy to the family and such a great loss for our community. Officer "Charles" would check in on our Starbucks at Town & Country nearly every day. He would stop in for his daily dark roast and spend time with all the partners who worked there. Checking on us and giving us a sense of security and safety in the early morning hours. Everyone who crossed his path in life will miss his presence. Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, rest in peace friend.

While I never had the distinct honor of meeting Charles, please know that I and many others are deeply saddened by his passing and that of so many others in law enforcement like Charles. He chose to “Protect and Serve” and is a true hero.

Charles was a big man with a big heart. I knew him through his security company. I still can’t believe this senseless violence has happened against him. But I am glad that they have caught the one that did this especially with no one else being hurt (law enforcement). He will be missed. Prayers for his family and may he RIP. 😢💔

Sharon, Sydney and family…so sorry for your loss. He was a guardian angel and made such a positive impact on so many lives. Just wanted to share one of my favorite pictures of him. He had just eaten the ‘Best Breakfast’ in Aruba. His smile was priceless. He will truly be missed.

For a number of years, Constable Galloway frequently patrolled the townhome community where my 91-year-old mother lives. He was always very caring and kind with her, taking the time to frequently interact with her and all the residents. He often attended the HOA Board meetings and presented information to the residents truly becoming a member of their community. He was always gracious, caring, watchful, and involved, a true credit to his profession. We were all truly grateful and appreciative of his service.

Yesterday she told me that she is very sad to hear of his passing and that a loving, thoughtful, and dedicated person has been tragically taken too soon. Our family will pray for the Galloway family as we pass on our most sincere condolences.
