Cecil James Soler was born January 6, 1961, in Boston Massachusetts. “Jimmy” was a devoted Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend to many who loved him dearly. He enjoyed the sermons at Second Baptist Church Woodway Campus and had a close relationship with his heavenly father.
Jimmy enjoyed cooking, fishing, golfing, listening to music on vinyl records and making people laugh with his contagious smile and sense of humor. In his younger days, Jimmy attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic School in Jamaica Plain and graduated from Boston English High School. After high school, Jimmy attended the University of Houston for mechanical engineering which led to his career path in the oil and gas industry. He was renowned in his specialization for actuation in valves. Within the industry, he was blessed to acquire many lifelong friendships.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his Parents Emilio and Blanca Soler and older Brother Emilio A. Soler. Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Jaklyn Soler, son James Michael Soler and daughter in law Sarah Soler, Sister Rosa Pollack and Brother in Law Philip Pollack, Brother Glenn Soler and Sister in Law Shea Soler of Cypress as well as many Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, and Great Nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10th at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home at 10 AM.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Saturday, August 17th at 10 AM. St. Thomas Aquinas is located at 12627 W Bellfort Ave. Sugar Land, TX 77478.
