Catherine Udell Kitchen

Catherine Udell Kitchen, age 73, of Houston, TX passed away on Tuesday August 1, 2017. Catherine was born January 17, 1944 to Catherine Louise Booth and Orvel Udell Booth. Catherine graduated from Reagan High School. She married Mel Wayne Kitchen on December 10, 1961. Catherine was a stay at home mom and enjoyed celebrations with her children, grandchildren, Great-grandchildren and her LuLu.

Catherine is survived by; daughter Tamarah L. Lee; and son David Kitchen (and his wife Stacie); brother Kenneth Booth (and his wife Shirley) and brother-in-law Jerry Price; grandchild Cody Kitchen (and his wife Kahlie), grandson Matthew Lee, granddaughter Ashley Lowman (and her husband Trey), granddaughter Madison Lee and great-grandchildren Rylee and Case Kitchen and her beloved companion little LuLu.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband Mel Wayne Kitchen; mother Catherine Louise Booth and father Orvel Udell Booth; sister Rebecca Price.

Loved Much... sassy, sweet, funny, beautiful, leopard print lover, supportive, make-up perfection, hair always just so, dressed to dazzle, loved Jesus, adored her family, (worth repeating!..ADORED HER FAMILY!!!!!)

STRONG, tiny but rose above the crowd, cheerleader to her kids and grandchildren and anyone she knew who needed one, role model, friend, my dearest friends mom, and so much more. We do know exactly where she is and praise Jesus, no more pain!!! I love this tiny giant and she will forever be etched in the memory of our hearts.-Dear Friend Chandra Peele
