Catherine Ann Compton of Kerrville, Texas died peacefully at home on August 6, 2017.
Catherine was born in Liberty, Texas on September 13, 1942, the daughter of the Honorable John L. Compton and Viola “Lindy” Compton.
She is survived by her brother, Higdon O. Compton and his wife Paige Compton, nephew John H. Compton and his wife Kristy Compton, nephew Higdon O. Compton, Jr. and two great-nieces, McKenna Compton and Sutton Compton.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and was also active in service as a Saintly Stitcher at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church of Houston for many years. Until moving to Kerrville, Texas.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 11, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, with Committal Service to follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
