Carol A. Reeves

Mrs. Carol Ann Reeves, age 80, passed away Saturday evening, July 22, 2023, in the comfort of her home. She was born February 19, 1943, in Harris County, a daughter of the late Dick and Williemae Reimers.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Wayne ‘Red’ Reeves, her son, Robin Jones, and her brothers, Roger Reimers and Alvin Reimers.

She is survived by her daughter Beckie Reeves Silcox and husband Josh Silcox; daughter-in-law Corinda Ewing; grandchildren Christopher Jones, Jon-Alan Wayne Reeves Silcox, and Courtney Dannielle Reeves Silcox, many loving nephews, nieces, and cousins, as well as additional family and friends.

She was a member of the Lutheran Church, and a homemaker. She enjoyed spending her time hosting family gatherings for the holidays, fishing at the lake house with her husband and grandchildren, and more than anything she loved being a mother and grandmother. She was always the caregiver for her family, whether it was a younger sibling or child, to ill family and friends, she made sure people in her life never went without love and care.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 28, 2023, at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park. Visitation begins at 8:30 a.m.
