Blanca Nieves Johnson, age 71, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016. Born in Houston, Texas, she loved going fishing, camping, hunting, and for long drives in the country. She was also excellent at crocheting and had a beautiful singing voice. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Johnson and her parents, Benito and Felomena Valle. She is survived by her daughters, Filomena Marie Johnson, and Juanita Gene Miller and husband Timothy O’Farrell; grandchildren, Krystal Ann Marie Perry, Regina Lee Montalvan, and Jennifer Kay Pedigo; great grandchildren, Kaylee, Aria, Kyle, Anthony, and Andrew; brother, Manuel Valle; sister, Valma Oxford; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will then be at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Graveside Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Brookside Memorial Park, 13401 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
