B. J. was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and moved to Houston in 1950 and passed away November 25, 2017. Mr. Johnson is survived by his extended family David L. Riley of Houston. At the request of Mr. Johnson there will be no formal funeral service. A private interment will take place at the Abbey Mausoleum at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
