Bill W. White, age 79, passed away on Thursday April 21, 2016 in Houston, Texas. He was born on November 20, 1937 in Shafter, Illinois. Billie grew up in Illinois and Palmyra, Wisconsin where he attended high school.
Bill was the CEO of Bindery Systems, with Kathy, his wife of 57 years as President. Together they had a successful business in Houston for many years. Bill believed that your word and a hand shake was your bond. Bill instilled in his children and grandchildren the same work ethic that he held.
Billie was not all work; he had a need for speed. He raced midget cars on the dirt track in Wisconsin. In the winter he raced motorcycles on ice. He enjoyed driving NASC cars at Texas Motor Speedway. Bill loved to sky drive when he lived in Wisconsin and had over 1000 jumps. Terry Sinderson, a longtime employee and friend, taught Bill the art of bass fishing. He spent many hours on Lake Livingston fishing and taught his grandchildren how to fish. They still talk about getting up before dawn, and Grandma would pack milk and donuts for them to eat as they waited for sunrise in the boat. Their fishing trip was not complete without a trip to alligator hole, to see if they could see any of them.
The family would like to expend a special thanks to Oasis Hospice care at Kindred Hospital, for the special care and attention they provided to Billie; along with the support given to our family was much appreciated.
Billie was preceded in death by his wife Kathy, his Father and Mother Woodrow and Louise White. He is survived by his loving daughters, Debbie Wagner, Ann Dobberfuhl and husband Tom; grandchildren Melissa Tillotson and husband Jim, Rebecca Wagner, Christopher and Aaron Dobberfuhl and Sean Howard and wife Laura, his great-granddaughter, Savannah; and numerous loving relatives and friends.
