Beverly Lynn Lynn Hamilton Lawrence

Beverly "Lynn" Lawrence, 63, of Huffman, TX, passed away peacefully at home on January 18, 2014. She was born on June 14, 1950 in Akron, OH to John William (Bill) and Lelia Whitman Hamilton. Beverly attended Ellot High School and was a member of Peach Creek Baptist Church. She had retired from Quality Control Inspector at Compaq Computer and worked for various companies throughout the years.

Lynn was a loving mother, independent, strong and confident. She never met a stranger and loved the Lord and her church. Lynn had many hobbies, some of which included raising goats, growing roses, collecting Hummel’s, carnival glass and old figurines. She loved all cats, including her 10 and loved feeding her 8 raccoons.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Lynn's hospice, her church, Leonard Willtrout, Lynda McKay and Deborah Sargant for their love and support during her illness.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister Brenda Miller. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Leyden; her son, Michael Lawrence; her grandchildren, Jonathan and Darrin Leyden; and very close friend but more like family, Leonard Willtrout.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made in Beverly’s honor to the Humane Society of the United States.
