Betty Jean Green

Betty was born November 18, 1962 to Junior Sullivan and Mary Louise Chew. Betty departed this life on July 23rd, 2021 in Beaumont Texas.

Betty is survived by her sisters Mary Lee Cornish, Frankie Mae Pilgrim, Linda Chew, and Sharon Dennis. Her brothers, Robert Chew and Donald Ray Chew. Her children Michael Green, Myisha Black, and Mitika Green. And her grandchildren, Michael Lynn Green lll, Micayah Green, Micah Green, Antoine Black Jr, Cameron Green, Lauren Denton and London Denton.

Betty is preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Parnell and brother, James Lee Chew.

She prided herself in making others happy, being a loving wife, mother of three & grandmother of seven. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, much laughter, and dancing, spending time with her grandchildren, family & friends.

Betty loved life, & displayed happiness, even on her darkest days. She brought light & joy into any room that she graced her presence. She will be missed deeply by so many.

A memorial service for Betty will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress Creek, 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston, TX 77095.
