Mom, Miss your Voice, Your Laugh, going to lunch, Laying on your bed looking @ pictures. Everyone misses you so much . I have Peace Mom Knowing you are with Jesus . I pray for the whole family that we too will get our lives together and make it to Heaven with you . You have left behind so many wonderful memories. There will never be anyone like you and I am thankful to have had you in my life. Thank you for loving me like your favorite *Daughter*  Lord I lift up the family and ask that you fill their heart will love & joy and amazing memories of mom that they don't be sad because she is with you . Bertha, first met her in the 7th grade at McReynolds Middle school, she sat behind me in our math class.  She was so friendly and sweet!  Passing our papers to the person behind us in class, she says to me, “Fran, you have the neatest writing”, and I was like, who me?  After that we became super friends!  We talked a lot and I remember going to her home on a Saturday and a sweet time.  I saw her last at my Nephew’s wedding and she was so precious. Also, she also did my Mother-in-law’s hair, just now I remember going to her little shop. For years we sent Christmas Cards to each other, and I never saw her    again.  I live in Round Rock, Texas and I would love to talk to her daughter/Son one day. Franmm16@sbcglobal.net.  

I loved you from the 1st day I met you .  My heart wishes that I grew up with you my whole life . I will always miss you mom :o(  I will also cherish our special moments doing lunch, getting nails done & most of all laying in your bed looking through all your pictures. Thank you for loving me like your own daughter. I will continue to pray for dad that Jesus gives him strength to get through this very hard time. Denise, Michael and Family,

I had the greatest pleasure of meeting your mom and getting to know her in New Orleans back in 2018. Although brief, I saw where Denise got her beauty, charm and her ability to spread love. Rest easy, Bertha.

I know words can’t take away the hurt you’re feeling, but I want you to know how much I care. Sending you love and strength.

Bertha was my mother’s favorite cousin, I would be reminded of this growing up always.  As a little girl my Aunt Eloise would often take me to visit Bertha and it’s where I developed a fondness for Denice, Jennifer and Kathy.  Memories I cherish to this day.  All have fallen as asleep in death (John 11:13). I’ll always pray for their awakening (John 11:25).  My deepest condolences to her husband, children and grandchildren.

Our sincerest condolences to Andrew and the family. The memories of Bertha will always be in my heart, her contagious smile and the fun times they always had with my parents will always be embedded in my mind. I will miss all her heartfelt, thoughtful Christmas cards. Rest In Peace Bertha

Bertha was my late wife Deboras cousin, so my cousin in law, I am not sure how that works.. and while I didn't get a lot of time with the cousins while Debora was still here, Bertha stuck out! 

Such a kind and gentle soul.   Unlike me right now, she knew just the right words to say to someone in great pain. I wish I knew what to say. 

God blessed the world with her here. 
She will be missed.
