Benny Lee Cash Jr. was born on July 9th, 1943 in Houston, Texas to loving parents, Bennie and Glendale Cash who preceded him in death. He Graduated from Booker T. Washington where he exceled at baseball and track. He furthered his education at TSU University where he studied Electrical Engineering.
With the blessing of being raised in a loving Christian home, Bennie accepted Christ as his lord and Savior. He was baptized at Progressive Baptist Church under the leadership of the late B.J Lewis.
Bennie had a wonderful career at General Electric as a Master Electrician, retiring after 33 rewarding years. His love of travel took him on many adventures across the country. Among his favorites were Pikes Peak, Las Vegas, and Arizona. He loved sports, especially baseball.
He was a loving and kind-hearted person and loved his family unconditionally. Bennie will be remembered for his generosity to everyone. He will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts. On November 11, 2018, Bennie departed this life. He is preceded in death by his father, Bennie Sr.; mother, Glendale; brother, Demetrice and Jackie.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife of 27 years, Dollie and her son Victor.
He leaves loving memories with his children, Stephanie, Tracye, Christopher, and Dana; sisters, Shirley and Gale; fourteen grandchildren as well as great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and loved ones.
