Harold and Mary and Barbara's Family:
I remember many many happy times with everyone from Burbank thru Sam Houston.  The walks home from Burbank to Gwynn and Linda's house and skating at Rainbow. 
So very sorry for the suffering Barbara had to endure and may she rest in peace and in God's kingdom.  My prayers are with you and all the memories will be with me forever.

I remember Barbara well from Sam Houston High School.  As I remember, she always had a smile on her face.  This dreaded disease called Cancer is so hard, both on those fighting the disease and those who love them.  Maybe someday there will be a cure.  Deepest sympathies to the family -- I know you will miss her.  But the hope of being reunited in Heaven is a comfort to us all.  May God be with you as you grieve her loss.

I always liked Barbara.  She was a happy person and easy to talk to about anything.  We were at Sam Houston High School together.  She was a joy to know and I am so sad to hear that she has passed away.  I want to extend my deepest sympathy to her sister Mary and all the rest of her family.  Sherry Nevels Hoke

Shawn, she was your Mother.
Patti, she was your Best Friend.
She was my Sister.
We all loved her in our own way and will grieve for her in our own way.
We will all miss her.  One of her wishes was that we stay close as a family.  Let us take that to heart and stay close or even closer than we are now.  
I realize now that we all have opportunities to express our love to each other and we need to do more of that.  Barb. used to call it "mushy stuff" but usually gave into a hug or an 'I love you'.  So now, to you both, I love you.

My aunt barbara was a very sweet and kind person. when I was a kid I went to her house every day when I got home from school and sometime my mom could not find me but mom knew I was at Barbara's house. After she retired she was all way's doing something around the house. I just want to thank Patti Suler for being there for my aunt Barbara God bless you. I will always remember my aunt Barbara.

Knowing Barbara was a real blessing.  She always made our office a brighter place when she would drop by.  While my heart is saddened at loosing her, I am encouraged by the Scriptures where God promises me that when the time comes for me to go to heaven's glory, I shall see her there.  Her bright smile will never fade in that land, and together we will sing God's praises around his throne...forever.   Larry Savage

Barbara has been a source of inspiration and comfort for some of us that also had to deal with cancer in our lives. She fought and good fight!

The Miller house was a second home to me when Barbara, Mary and I were kids â€“ grade school thru high school.   As it often goes, unfortunately, after time we only got together at family events.  For that I am sad.  My memories of those times together as children are all wonderful.  While only a couple of years separated our ages Barbara always watched over me, included me with their friends and made me laugh often.  She made me feel loved.  Her protective and loving nature is evidenced by the friends she chose and in the precious daughter she raised to be just as loving.  Barbara left me wonderful memoriesâ€¦I will miss her always.
