Barbara Focht was born in Kansas in 1929. She lived in Wichita, KS until she was 12 years old when she moved with her family to Pampa, TX in the panhandle of Texas.
She met her husband at the University of Texas.
They moved to the Houston/Bellaire area where they raised their children and Barbara enjoyed singing in the church choir and doing volunteer work.
Barbara has 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
