Barbara was married to George Cobb for 57 years. Together they had 4 children: Lisa, Jennifer, Christopher, and Elizabeth. She is survived by her husband, children and their spouses, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a big extended family – both familial and through friendship.
Her career spanned over 20 years in various roles at Cy-Fair School District and at Conoco. As an empty nester, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Our Lady of the Lake. When she retired, she became more involved in her church and loved her time in her two book clubs. Once an avid bowler, she was also known for her love of gardening, bird houses and her Christmas decorations.
She was a friend to everyone; small and big acts of kindness were her responsibility and destiny. She strongly believed she could and would make things better by showing up.
Celebration of life will be Friday, March 11 at 3:00 p.m. at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 801 E. Main Street in Tomball, Texas. The family respectfully requests masks to be worn at the service. For those unable to attend, it will be available on livestream http://gstomball.org/bcobb.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to either the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (phassociation.org) OR The Good Shepherd Foundation at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Tomball ([email protected])
