Barbara Mae Billa

Barbara Mae Billa passed from this life January 5, 2023, in Houston, TX. She was born September 25, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Resurrection College Prep High School in Chicago and met the love of her life Richard Billa at a graduation party. She always said it was love at first sight. They married in 1981 and after living in Traverse City, Michigan they settled down in Houston, Texas to raise their family.

She was an amazing mother, and her children were the light of her life. Barbara was known for her generosity and her laugh could light up the room. Everybody who knew her loved her, and she never met a stranger.

She is survived by her husband Richard Billa, sons Ryan and Kevin Billa, sisters Nancy and Kathleen Cody, brother Robert Cody, nieces Kristen Mayes, Tori Cody, and Chloe Keys, nephews Jimmy Barrett, Anthony Ulloa, and Robby Cody. In addition to her parents Robert and Pat Cody, she was predeceased by her sister Gale Schici and nephew Richard Schici. She will be dearly missed by all.
