Aubrey Dale Fontenot, Sr., was born May 19, 1955 to Audrey and John Fontenot, Jr. He was the sixth child born to that union. Aubrey lived in Houston, Texas all his life and received his education from local schools in Aldine ISD and Houston ISD.
He was the loving husband of Brenda (Taylor) Fontenot and a loving father of 5 children, Sequetta Baldwin (Michelle), Kiren Adams (Cynthia) Aubrey Fontenot, II, Krystle Roberts (Jeremy) and John Fontenot. He was also the loving grandfather of 6, Kendrick, Kelsie, Ka’Rin Kamani Adams, Kashly Joseph and Winter Roberts.
He was preceded in death by both parents and one loving niece, Quentina Jackson.
He leaves to mourn his wife Brenda, 5 children and 6 grandchildren. Also, his 5 siblings, Bonnie Collins, Stafford Fontenot, Barbara Johnson, Shirley Jones (Ron) and Ricky Fontenot (Debra), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Aubrey was loved by all and will truly be missed; he never met a stranger. We will miss his big, beautiful smile, his joy for life and forever talking, laughing entertaining nature.
