ARTHUR V. GREENWELL, age 83, passed away on June 30, 2010.He was born on March 26, 1927 in Louisville, KY. Art attended the University of Louisville and was a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity and he served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-1946. He was a member at Bear Creek United Methodist Church and was an industrial salesman for many years. Some of Art's hobbies included singing in the church choirs and barbershop quartets, square dancing, playing the piano and fishing. Art was preceded in death by his parents, Flora B. and Alan Greenwell; and brother, Briscoe Greenwell.He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Anne Haynes Greenwell; daughter, Lisa Cobb; sons, Brad Greenwell, Steve Greenwell and wife Deidra; and grandchildren, Dustin Greenwell, Nicole and Courtney Cobb and Antoinette Dube.Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6 until 8 PM on Friday, July 2, 2010 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home.A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Bear Creek United Methodist Church, 16000 Rippling Water, Houston, TX.
