Ánh-Mai Emily Moore, whose name means "dawn's light," was born the morning of February 24, 2011 in Houston, Texas. She grew up in Cypress, Texas, attended Kindergarten at Lakewood Montessori School, ballet courses at Ballet Center of Houston, piano lessons with Mrs. Christine Douglas and was a proud future member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2033. She had recently learned to hula hoop, ride a bike without training wheels, and was on the cusp of her first Tooth Fairy visit. She loved to read, draw, color, make mud pies, construct Legos, but most of all, she loved to "cuddle cuddle snuggle." She was truly loved by everyone who knew her for her joyful spirit, infectious laughter and tight hugs. She loved and loves her family, especially her "bestie" and big sister, Mai-Linh and her constant playmate and "awesome best brother," Thai-Binh.
She is survived by parents Stephen and Ann Nguyen Moore, her brother and sister, all four grandparents, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
