Angus E. (Scotty) Lewis, Jr., 91 of Houston, Texas, entered into rest on February 23, 2021. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 26, 1929 to parents Artelia and Angus E. Lewis, Sr.
Angus graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Geology. He served in the United States Army, HV Tank Co. 278 Infantry during the Korean War. Angus married the love of his life, Virginia DuFord and together raised a beautiful family. He was a piping engineer and draftsman in the oil and gas industry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry and traveling. He is survived by his children Gail Bailey, Christopher Lewis, Jonathan Lewis; grandchildren, Dane and Bryce Bailey, Drew Lewis, Russell Smith and Dale and Natalie Lewis; sister in laws Myrna DuFord and Betty Lewis.
A committal service for Angus will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.
In lieu of flowers a fund has been set up at Cottage of Spring Branch which is the dementia facility that cared for Angus the last four years of life.
