She is preceded in death by her parents Anna May Brooks, Fernando Franco and Anna Louise Franco. Angela is also preceded in death by her dear sister, Dee Wallace, along with her brother, Freddy Franco.
Angela is survived by her husband, Rudy Diaz of Houston; brothers Eugene Franco and wife Jennifer Franco of Magnolia, Joe Franco of Indiana. She is also survived by countless extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Angela was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Pasadena. She would attend week after week until she no longer was physically able to do so. Although she could no longer attend in person, she loved the Lord dearly. Everyone who knew her heard about her love for the Lord. She was very bold when sharing about Jesus.
Angela loved BIG. She loved her husband Rudy with all her heart, referring to him often as “my darlin”. Family was most important to her. She bragged often on her many nieces and nephews and their accomplishments. She never met a stranger. If you were to meet Angela, she would immediately call you friend and you would feel the same.
It feels as if the world has lost a great piece of goodness. Because of Jesus, we find comfort in knowing we will be reunited with Angela again. We will continue to live our lives in a way that honors our beloved sister in Christ.
