After twenty years of hard work, she retired in and resided in Houston, Texas. She was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her mother Maria Bernal.
She is survived by her three daughters Minerva Rangel, Margareta Rangel and Cristina Rangel; son Jose Rangel, her father Pablo Bernal, ten brothers and sisters; Jose G. Bernal, Silvestre Bernal, Max Bernal, Jose L. Bernal, Delia Bernal, Socorro Bernal, Concepcion Bernal, Elena Espinoza, Pablo Bernal and Margarita Bernal. She was also blessed with eleven grandchildren; Stephanie Enrriquez, Samantha Vela, Alejandra Enrriquez, Ximena Gutierrez, Valeria Enrriquez, Gisel Gonsalez, Xenia Gonsalez, Xiadany Gutierrez, Mirian Gonsalez, Diego Rangel and Katy Gonsalez.
