Alfredo A. Tello

Alfred Alcala Tello (AL), born on June 22, 1934 in Houston, Texas, passed away at the age of 78 of natural causes on October 26, 2012. He was a graduate of Jefferson Davis High School and enjoyed a long career in freight logistics and was employed with H.E. Schurig & Co Inc., M.W. Kellogg, and Fritz Companies Inc. He enjoyed his retirement years attending the Salvation Army Senior Citizen gatherings and rooting for his hometown Houston Astros, Houston Texans, U of H Cougars, where his 3 children graduated, and recently UT Longhorns, where his eldest grandson graduated, and youngest grandson currently attends. He is survived by his wife Adela Tello, sons; Anthony Tello, Michael Tello and wife Lynnete, and daughter Deborah Tello Ortiz and husband Patrick. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Andrew Tello, Eric Tello, Hannah Tello, Sophia Ortiz, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 29, 2012 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home from 5-9pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4419 N. Main Street, Houston Texas 77009, at 10:30am with Father Giulio Veronesi CRS presiding. Interment to follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
