Visitation will be held from 10:00 PM until Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church 2766 Hwy. 311 Houma, LA. Burial will follow in the Brooklyn Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Melissa Wheaton; father, William Wheaton Jr. (Debra); grandmother, Dorothy Pollard; five daughter, Kizzy Bland (Adam) and Cassandra Thomas (Freddie) of Raceland, LA., Ronte Burns (Kentrell) of Chackbay, LA., Brandi Burns of Baytown, TX., and Chardonnay Howell (Jackson) of Mississippi; two sons; Randy Thomas (Vikki) of Baton Rouge, LA, and Otis Brown (Jennifer) of Donaldsonville, LA; eight sisters, Sandra Turner (Paul), Jennifer Bishop (Norman), Tokeilia Wheaton, Lorraine Bryant (Winfred), Rosalind Wheaton, Thrissa Every (Marlon), Phylicia Robinson and Dalicia Robinson; three brothers,Terry Wheaton (Debbie), Alvin Wheaton (Stephanie) and Donald Wheaton (Kimberly); seven godchildren; Natoya Coleman, Dominique Thomas, Curtis Folse Jr., Trevas Chambers, Kayonte Folse, Tacorien Jones and Oziriyah Brown; twenty-five grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ronald enjoyed working at his automotive shop, visiting family and friends and last but not least drag racing. He touched all that knew him!
Preceded in death by his mother, Evelina Moten and stepfather, Godfrey Moten; paternal grandfather, William Wheaton Sr., maternal grandparents, Selena and Chad Folse; son, Ronald Burns and, sister, Annette Cooper.
