Lillie Mae Smith

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at New Salem Baptist Church in Patterson, LA. from 12:00 Noon until funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow funeral services in the Iberts Memorial Park in Patterson, LA. Reverend Samuel Calhoun will officiate services.

Memories of Lillie will forever remain in the hearts of her husband of fifty-four years, Hilliard Smith, Jr. of Patterson, LA; three sons, Hilliard Smith, III and Johnny Walker both of FL and Mark Smith of Patterson, LA; seven daughters, Bobbie Ruffin, Sandra Smith, Faith Smith, , Rosalind Williams, Elda (Ronald) Johnson all of Patterson, LA, Jackie (Deserie) Wilson of Houma, LA and Tina (Calvin) Williams of Norfolk, VA; a step-daughter, Carol J. Carbins of Morgan City, LA; two brothers, Bally Richard, of Patterson, LA and Leonard Mensman of Morgan City, LA; three sisters-in-law, Shirley May and Mary L. Smith of Patterson, LA and Alemdia Smith of Bostoe, CA; three brothers-in-laws, Alfred Smith of Bostow, CA, Arthur Smith and Rousell Thomas, Sr. both of Patterson, LA; three special cousins,  Josie A. Carmouche of Patterson, LA and Marie Lecompte and Ada Young of Lake Charles, LA; a special niece, Karen T. May of Gray, LA, twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and q nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, Alberta Richard and Edward Washington; three children, Rose Marie Smith, Dale Smith and Melvin Walker; one brother Mike Hamilton and one sister, Virginia Thomas.
