Pam was the most beautiful soul you would ever meet. She was kind and cared deeply for the ones that she loved. She enjoyed being outdoors near bodies of water. The lake and the beach were her favorite places to be so much so that she had a home in Florida for many years. She loved to play cards with her friends and playing on the slot machines. She was indeed the slot machine queen!!! No matter the occasion she would NOT be seen without makeup on. She made sure to be all done up before even leaving the bedroom.
Pam graduated from ASU and did what she loved most, teaching. She taught special education for 29 years!!
She was also a proud member of First Baptist Church for 23 years! She was a part of the Woman’s Group there called the Woman’s Welcome Club. Her faith, love for the Lord, and her church family meant the world to her.
She will be missed by all that knew her and will be remembered by her beautiful hair, smile, laugh, and her love for talking to people.
Pam is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Rayma Baker.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years Gene Franks; Step children Gene Franks Jr. (Shannon) and Austin Franks (DeDe); Cousin Dondi Harris (Marcus, Anna, Blake); seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; her beloved yorki Ruby who she cherished deeply; and longtime best friend Janie Smith (Lindsey Phillips) and godmother of Justin Smith.
