Lisa Machelle Veazey, who valiantly battled cancer, peacefully departed this world on September 24th, 2023. Lisa was born on September 14th, 1969, in Hot Springs, AR, Lisa was the daughter of Jacqueline Gail Floyd and Patrick Scott Veazey.
Throughout her eventful life, no moment held greater significance to Lisa than the day her daughter, Leslie Michele Slife, was born. Lisa was a fierce mother bear who rode a motorcycle and cherished her "one and only".
Lisa's life journey was marked by her unwavering determination. Lisa had grit. Her tenacity and quick learning made her a formidable worker, and she proudly accumulated an impressive repertoire of unique talents, a testament to her boundless resourcefulness. Lisa embodied sweetness and toughness in equal measure, exuding a rare blend of confidence and humility that endeared her to everyone she met. Her spirit was wild and untamed, and her sense of humor was a constant source of joy, no matter the circumstances. Lisa was a good friend; to her human and dog friends alike. With a heart as golden as it was compassionate, Lisa was known for her colorful language and unshakable love for Jesus. Her life was a testament to the beautiful contradictions that make us human, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
Lisa is survived by her daughter Leslie Slife, her daughter in-law to be, Devon Bradley, along with their children Abel and Caroline, and we better not forget Lisa's granddog Colbie Jack; nieces, Sarina Parachini, Kesa Atlas, Brittany Dailey; nephew, Paxton; and more friends than could ever possibly be named.
Lisa was preceded in death by mother and stepfather, Jacqueline and Tommy Reynolds; father, Patrick Scott Veazey; uncle, Terry Floyd; grandmother, Buna Mae "Skeet" Floyd; brothers, Daniel Dailey, Gregory Neal Dailey; and sister, Carla Veazey.
