Ethel Davis

Ethel Elder Davis, 93, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, died on August 19, 2022 after suffering complications from vascular dementia. Born September 13, 1928, in Cedar Glades, Arkansas, she is predeceased in death by her parents, James and Bertha Elder, her husband of 52 years, Jack Davis, sisters Ruby Smith, Edith Jackson, Dorothy Walters, Veda Lane, Velma Hardin and brothers Silas Elder and George Elder.

Ethel attended Lakeside school and was in the very first graduating class at Lake Hamilton high school. She loved to garden and had a green thumb when it came to her houseplants. She was always the life of the party and enjoyed making people laugh.

Ethel is survived by her only daughter, Amy Davis, of Hot Springs, Arkansas and many well loved nieces and nephews.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Arkansas Hospice team of nurses and caregivers that took excellent care of her at home and in the hospital.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Gross Funeral Home and graveside service will be at 12:30 Tuesday, August 23,2022 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
