What a sad and unexpected loss. I worked as one of Chris's colleagues for many years at ASMSA. May he rest in peace...

Chris was a close friend, especially when I lived in Hot Springs. I saw him do numerous kind things for others. We still talked on the phone despite moving away. He ran the distance education program while at ASMSA and it grew into a resource not just used in Arkansas but a number of other states as well. I will miss him.

Chris was a brilliant man with so much potential to offer.  I was so glad and proud to hear that he received his Doctorate.   I know it took much for him to get it.  Rest well, Chris Robbins.  You will be very much missed.

I have known Chris for about twenty years.  We were co-workers at ASMSA and became friends.  We have hunted together on my farm up until the time he started his graduate work and we were looking forward to hunting together again this fall.  He often said that when he hunted with me again, he will be Dr. Robbins.  He did finish his graduate work and is Dr. Robbins and will be missed this fall and always.

I wrote stories for Chris’ Thorocap website in 2019 and 2020 and enjoyed our association very much. He was a very smart, warm and enthusiastic guy, and I was shocked to learn he was gone far too soon.  He was such an engaging personality that very early in our relationship I considered him a friend, and I told him that.
     My condolences to his wife and son, whom he spoke of often.  His circle of friends and acquaintances, along with horse racing, are diminished by his absence.
