Jessica Lee Aparicio

Jessica Lee (Gomez)Aparicio, (48), passed away at her home on July 22, 2024. She was born on February 18, 1976 to Victor Gomez and Vickie Gomez. Jessica graduated from La Junta High School in 1994. Jessica and former spouse Christopher Aparicio had three children together who they adored. Jessica worked in a bakery and had a natural artistic talent for decorating some astonishing cakes. Most recently she enjoyed designing jewelry. Jessica was the happiest when spending time with her 3 daughters and her 3 grandchildren. She loved every moment she got to spend with her family and friends. Jessica enjoyed cooking and as a military spouse , she always cooked for the young Soldier's giving them a home cooked meal while away from their families. Jessica was recognized by many Army installations for her contributions supporting military families including a personal thanks from the 25th Infantry Division's Commanding General.

Jessica is survived by her daughters, Gabriela Gomez(Ryan Putnam), Danella Aparicio and Caeli Aparicio of Fayetteville, NC; Former Spouse Christopher Aparicio of Fayetteville, NC; Father, Victor Gomez(Liz Gomez) of La Junta, CO; Mother Vickie Gomez of Pueblo, CO; Brothers, Ronnie Gomez of Pueblo, CO, Marcos and Nathan Tenorio of La Junta, CO; Sister Amanda Tenorio of La Junta, Co and her three grandchildren; Lucille, Garrett and Caspian Putnam. Nephews and Nieces: Trevino Romero, Zackary Gomez, Diego Tenorio, Victor Tenorio, Nathan Jr. Tenorio, Brooklyn Romero, Jazlynne Gomez, Mariana Tenorio, Emiliana Tenorio, and Kayliana Tenorio, and great-niece Esmina Wolff.

Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply in her wide-network of friends. The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time and asks that you make contributions to our memorial fund in lieu of flowers and contribute by sharing memories of our beloved Jessica on our memorial website.

A visitation with family & friends for Jessica will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. Jessica wishes that no one wears black to her viewing.
