Mr. Hernandez was born on June 12, 1920, in Fowler, Colorado, to the late Alejandro and Maria Ramirez Hernandez.
He has gone on to meet his wife and join together once again in Heaven. He was a hard working Army veteran that served in every major conflict between WWII and Vietnam. During his 27 years of military service he received many decorations, among them the Silver and Bronze stars.
He is survived by his four kids; Lori Jones, Liz Hernandez, Ernie and Alex W Hernandez; and grandkids, Victoria Herring and Taylor Hernandez.
The viewing will be held Tuesday, Apr. 10, 2012 from 12 to 1pm, followed by the memorial service, and will be held at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills. Graveside services will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Mr. Hernandez was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
