MR. YEON KOO KIM, 93, of Honolulu, passed away March 4, 2012 in Honolulu. Born in Chon Nam Province, Korea, Mr. Kim was the proprietor of a barbershop in Korea and a former employee for the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Waikiki.
He is survived by wife, Haeng Ye Kim; sons, Song Mo Kim, Choon Mo Kim and Seung Mo Kim; daughter, Janet Choi; 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; a sister in Korea.
Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at St. Pius X Catholic Church (2821 Lowrey Avenue, Honolulu); Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park in Kaneohe.
