We just now learned of Ross's passing. It was our genuine privilege to meet Ross and his beautiful bride at the zenith of their mortal experience. Even then, they continued to radiate light and love. We look forward to meeting with them again on the other side of the veil.

We  were looking up Marian  to let her know Marsy Woodward had passed away and came upon this. So sorry for your loss. Both Ross and Marian are great people and we send our deepest sympathy to your family. I'm sure he is deeply missed.

As the “token haole” at Walker Moody in the 1980’s I have fond memories of Ross and his family. A quiet humble man who gave me the opportunity to take care of my family by working as a carpenter for the company. My deep condolences to the family and close friends of Ross. Outside of my own family, Ross had a greater impact on my life than anyone.  He was my scout leader and my bishop.  When I was preparing to serve a mission, he gave me work.   When I became a scout leader I spoke with Ross and he shared his wisdom.  When I became a bishop I spoke with Ross and he lovingly shared his wisdom.   I am so grateful for Ross and for the example he set for me.  

To the Moody Family:
We send all our love and prayers and a big thank you for all the good things all of you have done in our lives.  Ross was the best Bishop we ever had in Kahala Ward---as we often said he was not just a good caring Bishop but was the "Kids Bishop".  He worked with such great love and didn't want to lose any of the young people of our ward.  Of course Marian was always giving  such great support and love to Ross, their family and the rest of us.  The wonderful trips that Ross took the youth on truly made a difference in Michelle and Michael's lives.  Thank you for being such good friends and Marian was my favorite tennis partner.  We love all of you so much and know how sad it is with the passing of your Dad but how wonderful for him to be with all the dear loved ones who have gone on ahead of him.
