Although many years have passed since I grew up across the street from the Bethard family; I have fond & fun memories of our childhood.
I remember a race track (Matchbox or Hot Wheels) in the basement that I thought was the coolest toy & glad that Andy shared that fun w/ me.  I remember Andy trying to get me to run with him in our teenage years - poor guy - I was SOO terrible at it, but he was always very nice.  I remember summer nights most of the neighborhood kids running around & playing tag or red-rover, sometimes collecting lightening bugs.  There were the dress up days at the Dotts' home where everyone had something interesting to wear! & "Crazy Town" pedal car/trike activities on our driveway/carport.  
Andy was always the quiet(er) one of the brothers, very nice & polite.  I am glad he is part of my childhood memories.
I am very sorry to the whole family for the loss of Andy.  I pray for God's comfort for all of you.  My sincerest condolences.
